Melisa has 18 years’ experience in Responsible Sourcing by assisting brands on monitoring their supply chain through audits, consultation risk assessments, training and community projects.

Melisa has completed over 1000 audits in 70 different countries with experience across a variety of industries such as apparel, food, electronics, hardlines, renewable energies and conflict minerals with the scope to verify working conditions, human rights and suppliers’ due diligence.

Melisa has assessed more than 50 wind farms projects along with vessels, refineries and mines in Europe, USA and Africa working in accordance to OECD Guidelines, UN Guiding Principles and ILO core conventions.

She has experience in agricultural audits assessing migrant workers conditions in farms in Italy, Spain and Greece.

Melisa is specialized on traceability and animal welfare projects and she has supported brands on tracing wool, cashmere, angora and leather in Europe, India, Australia and China.

She is a certified APSCA-CSCA auditor, ISO14001-14011, SA8000 auditor. She fluently speaks Italian, English, French and Spanish.

Melisa has a Phd in Literature and she is currently based in Italy managing the EMEA Arche Team.
